Based on the title, I was hoping for something optimistic about AI slop reduction, for example major search engines detecting AI output and removing it from search results. Won't this be super cool?

Sadly, that post is not about this. It's a post from someone with "content marketing background", and it claims that new reasoning models are supposed to better at writing, so "the era of AI slop is ending; the age of AI insight is just beginning".

Hhaha ho. LLMs still can't reason and have no ability to "experience" anything. They are still tools for remixing existing (and often stolen) content.
