Ask HN: Is there a game where you try to escape a downtown collapsing in slo-mo?
Your character moves at full speed while the world around you crumbles in slow motion, giving you time to plot the safest route and evade falling skyscrapers and debris.
Does such a game exist?
It sounds a bit like Canabalt, maybe? https://canabalt.com
Why this is so like the game Vector?
Reminds me of superhot, a pc and vr first person shooter where time moves only when you move. It’s amazing.
Sounds vaguely like the Disaster Report games, which I only know about from videos and reviews. I haven't played them, but I don't think they have that specific mechanic, which honestly doesn't sound fun or immersive.
Sounds a bit like Portland IRL.
